What’s the easiest way to grow your social media? How can you get interactions and loyal followers? These are questions you may be asking yourself. Growing a presence on social media takes time and understanding. The one thing that I can assure you is that it’s exciting and it will benefit your business in the long run.
Here are my top 4 reasons why you should invest your time:
How to get started
After you have made your accounts it’s time to brainstorm ( Although, brainstorming beforehand gets you head of the game too). Being to pick a strategy that works for you. To make sure that you can fully develop a strategy what you need to do is familiarize yourself with each platform to see how it works and who/what is trending.
Have in mind who your demographic and psychographics is. The demographic is the age, gender, and income of those who are your target followers. Next, think about the psychographics of your followers which is their personality. Everyone is different so ask yourself is your ideal follower outgoing, conservative, open-minded, etc. The goal is for them to connect with your business and page so they become clients.
Another way to research is by looking at pages that are like your page. They may have followers that will be interested in the content you offer. This will help give insight into what the popular posts are and how to interact with others.
Make Valuable Content
Your social media post should have a purpose and a thoughtful caption. Have good quality photos or videos that truly describe the message you want everyone to see. This also means that you have a theme set in place. Don’t start posting random things because that would leave your followers confused about what your page is truly about. If you are a page about quality furniture show all aspects of that and don’t throw in a random post that won’t relate. Be as creative as you want to be.
The post caption should give good information and get your followers thinking. No matter what the post is you want to show that you care. You also want to engage others to have a conversation with you. Make sure to answer all comments thoughtfully. Each person who has given you their time and interest will appreciate a response.
This is just the start! Keep a lookout for part 2.
