CHANGED YOUR BUSINESS NAME?

I just got done working with a client to revamp their business brand. As part of the new brand, a new name was chosen. It was the perfect time for this company to make this type of change because:

• they have been working as a sole proprietor, and were looking to expand.
• their old website was hacked, and they had to choose a new domain name.
• they had not done any SEO work with their old name.
• they had not developed a Facebook or Google following.

While getting ready to launch the new site, I was asked how to change the name of the Facebook Page. Since we often do company branding at 360WD, I thought others may want to know this information, and not want to search it on their own.

FACEBOOK

To change the name of your Facebook page:

1. Login and go to the page where you want to change the name

2. On the left side is a set of navigation buttons. Click on the About.

3. One of the first edit choices is the page name. This is where you can change the name.

4. Done. Simple?
