This place is AMAZING! I would give 1,000,000,000 stars if i could! The service is AMAZING! Super nice! Delicious food! They gave the puppy shrimp, New York Steak and meatballs no charge! Wow! No words for how amazing and wonderful this place is! You need to try!
Absolutely amazing service, food was relatively well priced. Best Italian food I've had since coming back from Italy. For an authentic food and experience, come here. Ambiance is very nice, dim lights that are bright enough that you can still see we'll. Definitely would recommend, coming back for a friend's birthday dinner soon.
Had a wonderful GNO dinner last Saturday night. Our waiter, Michelangelo, was very attentive. He checked each wine glass and replaced one that wasn't up to his standards! Very impressive, I rarely see that kind of attention to detail. Dishes were removed from the table in a timely manner. Waters always kept full. Our experience with the food was also 5 star. Everyone's portions were more than adequate. Food was very good and hot. Prices are reasonable. The bread can use some help. It was a sourdough loaf, thinly sliced, not in a basket or covered so it was very dry. Dipping sauce ..... delicious. Will definitely go back.
I have no idea why or how this restaurant can have less than 5 stars. Food was excellent and the pricing was on par with any good (and this food was great!) Italian restaurant. Went there with my Father and ordered the Chianti Classico, bruschetta, petrale piccata and the chicken Caesar, and all of it was excellent! Alas, the tiramisu was still being prepared (was there for lunch when they opened) but ordered the biscotti and gelato, and was a great finish! I will definitely be back, love the quaint atmosphere, food, and authentic experience!
If you're looking for a charming and authentic Italian experience in downtown Pleasanton, this is your place. The menu has an abundance of options for any taste... vegetarian, pescatarian, gluten free, homemade pasta lover... they seem to aim to please. It feels like an escape to Sicily with all the warmth and character you'd expect.
Lunch on Christmas Day was very busy. We were able to get seated without a reservation and are very thankful for that. Food was good . Large prawns with vegetables and polenta was delicious. Everything perfectly cooked, vegetables crunchy and tasty. Pasta with sausage very good, excellent marinara sauce. It was not on the men, but the waiter took such order to accommodate us.Mixed green salad was ok, nothing special, just lettuce without any additional ingredients. I personally didn't care about their dressing. We couldn't get waiter's attention to order dessert and coffee (but understandable, he was really busy) and decided to leave as it was too crowded. Next time, we will try their tiramisu or spumoni.
What a great little hole in the wall Italian restaurant! We were early and had a cocktail at the bar, it was good! Our party got there and we were seated right away. Asked about a red wine, of course the waiter pointed out a bottle for $125, no thank you. Then he recommended a Italian red which was very good! At $55 I had the seafood risotto, it was delicious. My wife had the veal, she enjoyed it. My BIL had the veal chop, you would have thought it was a pork chop! That big, he loved it! Of course I finished with a lemoncello!
Has a lunch date here with my hubby and ate outside. The food and service was great! I definitely plan on visiting. The owner was a delight. Drinks were amazing too!
