Living in the Bay Area is not a requirement for membership, but we’d love to meet you in person. We held a successful weekend retreat in February 2025, and hope to repeat that in the future. Our monthly newsletter provides members with up to date information.
The location of the meetings has varied over the years; for April and May 2025 the meeting is at Ygnacio Valley Library, 2661 Oak Grove Rd, Walnut Creek, CA 94598. The address for the June 2025 meeting will be sent to members.
Our meetings begin at 10:00 AM, on the second Saturday of each month. The first section of our meeting, from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM, includes a discussion of guild business, sharing of our “makes,” design ideas and machine knitting techniques. After a short break (bring your own lunch) we have the second part of our meeting, from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM, usually with an invited guest speaker from around the world of machine knitting. The speaker may be here in person or join us via Zoom. Note that depending upon where the speaker is located, we may “flip” our schedule and have the presenter start at 10:00 AM.
