Our meetings are now held both in-person and via Zoom. Usually there’s a guest speaker, some of whom are here in person, others present via Zoom. Which means that we’ve had speakers from all over the world, people who are the rock-stars of our niche. Even if the speaker is joining us on Zoom, it’s still worth showing up in person to the meeting to meet other members in real life, eat lunch together (bring your own sandwich,) see some of the Show and Tell items up close, and get questions answered.
Guild members will receive a Zoom invite the day before the meeting. As well as the guest speaker, there’s a short business/announcements section, then Show & Tell which is often a big hit, our members make some awesome knitwear items.
We currently don’t have a permanent home for our in-person gathering; read each month’s listing carefully for the location. In early 2025 we’ve been using a room at the Ignacio Valley library in Walnut Creek, but it’s not always available.
